VICE PRESIDENT OF MEDIA
Hailey Imbasciani

Hailey Imbasciani has worked extremely hard for the position of NJ DECA Vice President of Media. After running for the first time her sophomore year and not earning the position her love for DECA and the desired position was put to the test. Though many might say she failed her first attempt she looks back on her experience as another skill learned and a stepping stone to her successful run the following year. Her experiences through DECA have taught her to not let anything stand in her way and to remain resilient even through the toughest times. So, to say the least, Hailey Imbasciani is ecstatic to be serving as your NJ DECA 2018-2019 Vice President of Media.
Hailey’s high school experiences have prepared her for this journey. This is Hailey’s fourth year as a DECA member; she has participated in the state conference for all four years of her membership and has attended the national conference the past two years. Additionally, this will be her third year representing NJ DECA as a national voting delegate at ICDC. Within her high school’s DECA chapter she has held several leadership positions serving as a chapter officer assisting members with preparing for their role plays and increasing membership.
Beyond DECA Hailey has been President of her class for all of her high school career, holds the position of Founder and president of the fashion club at her school, and is actively involved and holds leadership positions in National Honor Society, Business Honor Society, Chemistry club, Speak with a peer (SWAP), Student Council, Student body representative on the PTA and Yoga club. In addition to these Hailey enjoys giving back to the community through other extracurriculars she is heavily involved in such as Leaders Encouraging Adolescent Progress (LEAP), and the outreach programs she participates in through National Honor Society. Outside of school her freshman year Hailey interned with Capezio as a social media consultant. She says that working for a corporate company at such a young age really opened her eyes to the world of business and the endless possibilities it offers. When Hailey has some downtime she enjoys shopping, seeking the latest fashion trends, traveling to various places (her favorite being Italy and France) and baking.
Overall, Hailey cannot wait to serve as your 2018-2019 NJ DECA Vice President of Media and to meet and connect with as many members as possible. If you have any questions, comments or just want to talk feel free to reach out!
